AAMI Park

AAMI Park is Melbourne’s premier rectangular sports and entertainment venue, conveniently situated between the Yarra River and the MCG.

The Park features a cutting-edge Bioframe design with a geodesic dome roof which covers the seating area. The geodesic dome roof is not only a nice visual feature, but the design also serves an important purpose – it enables all spectators to enjoy unobstructed views free from pillars, walls and other support structures – meaning there is not a single bad seat in the house. This unique design required 50% less steel than a typical stadium roof of the same size.

AAMI Park accommodates elite NRL, super rugby and soccer matches, with a stadium capacity of 30,050 people. The venue is also the home ground of the Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City Football Clubs (A-League), Melbourne Storm (NRL) and the Melbourne Rebels (Super Rugby).
