The National Geographic Photo Ark at Melbourne Zoo
The National Geographic Photo Ark is coming to Melbourne Zoo for an Australian-first exclusive exhibition! This captivating exhibition will display the works of National Geographic Fellow Joel Sartore’s multi-year photography project. The objective of the mammoth project is to capture the portraits of approximately 12,000 species of animals that will serve as a vital record of their existence. The project will also raise awareness of preserving and saving the planet’s wildlife.
To date, Joel Sartore has completed portraits of over 6,000 species, featuring images taken from the world’s zoos and wildlife sanctuaries situated in over 40 countries – including our very own Melbourne Zoo.
Entry to the National Geographic Photo Ark is included with general admission to Melbourne Zoo.
