Crown Casino is not just a casino, but also a sparkling entertainment complex located on the southern bank of the Yarra River of Melbourne, Australia. Lloyd Williams was the founder, owner and manager of Crown Casino until PBL took over the casino in 1999. The casino, belonging to Crown Limited, is a huge attraction, with an average count of sixteen million visitors every year, making it easily the largest casino in Australia.

The games provided by Crown Casino are varied and numerous, but the all time favourites are Poker, Blackjack, Pai Gow, Craps, Roulette and Baccarat. Fast catching on to this list of favourites is the casino’s own invention, Rapid Roulette, and electronic version of regular Roulette. The poker machines have values of one cent, 2 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 20 cent, 50 cent and 1 dollar for those who want to play. Children under the age of eighteen are allowed to enter the entertainment section of the casino but not the gaming area, or areas where alcohol is served.

This famous casino is an architectural spectacle, built by multiple architects, one of whom was Daryl Jackson, an award winning architect. The casino opened in the year 1994 at the World Trade Centre and immediately became one of the central features of the southern banks of Melbourne. It is open all day every day, with the only exceptions being Christmas Day, Anzac Day and Good Friday, when the casino stays closed between the hours of 4 am and 12 pm.
